Instructions for Authors
Editors require authors to submit manuscripts in a style and format (and with content) appropriate to each journal.
Instructions to authors are published at least yearly in each journal.
A notebook containing instructions for authors from journals to which the Health
Sciences Library subscribes is located in HSL Reserve; ask for it at the Circulation
Desk. Authors' guide to biomedical journals is available in the HSL Reference collection. Instructions from other journals may be obtained through Interlibrary Loan.
Many journals put their Instructions for Authors on web pages; search for the publisher's home page to find the journal you wish to write for.
Some journals' instructions are also available on the Internet. See also ACS Instructions for Authors.
