What our residents have said about the program
"Everyone in my current program compliments me on my medicine knowledge and training; which speaks highly of the UMKC internal medicine residency program. I am glad to have spent a year with you."
- Mike Henrie, D.O.
“I think one of the biggest strengths is the close knit nature of this program. The faculty, staff and residents work as part of one team to provide excellent patient care and to encourage learning. Also, the diversity of experience available due to our two medical centers where we rotate, combined with its excellent teachers and mentors provide an exceptional mix of clinical and research experience.”
- Jagdish Nachnani, M.D., Resident
