Dr. Mary M. Gerkovich, Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics is part of a multidisciplinary team of UMKC and MU researchers conducting clinical research to investigate the value of a plant to reduce inflammation in patients with osteoarthritis.
Evidence-based Decision Making
Dr. Kim Smolderen leads the PORTRAIT study. An international project working to promote a disease-management model that will facilitate the adoption of evidence-based treatments and allow patients to have productive interactions with a team of (peripheral artery disease) PAD specialists about what treatments would be preferable for them.
